Jessie can be very loving and affectionate with the right female and loves to have her head rubbed. She is somewhat shy and very gentle in nature as long as her environment is quiet and calm. Would be best as an only bird due to jealousy issues and will not adopt to a household that already has macaws. Other pets are ok but could pose a risk to small children.
