The Contax RTS III is the top of the line Contax 35mm SLR camera body. Contax mount accepts full line of Carl Zeiss T* lenses. The manual-focus Carl Zeiss T* lens set is regarded as one of the finest optical systems in the world. This camera was my back-up body. Mechanically this camera is in great shape, only small, slight imperfections in the paint and finish of the body. All aperture, shutter speed and film transport functions work. There is some bleed in both blue LCD screens in the viewfinder. This does not affect the mechanical operation of the camera in any exposure modes. The shutter speed bleed affects the top of the scale touching the 1/2000, a small portion of the 1/4000, and most of the 1/8000 shutter speed display in the viewfinder. The shutter speeds still can be read in the viewfinder. The bleed in the aperture LCD partially covers the aperture reading which makes M mode less easy to use. I tried to show these issues in the pictures below. With these flaws I am selling this camera "as is." Please note again that the LCD screens do not affect the mechanical operation, film transport or proper exposure, they just make it harder to read the current aperture value through the viewfinder.
