BOOTS ADORES OTHER FEMALE DOGS (he has a girlfriend named Rainey in his foster home).....Although a bit of an alpha male ---he does currently live with male dogs.)----- We believe Boots perfect match would be a home with another female dog?? OR as an only dog with ACTIVE owner(s) to take him places, run him, hike or a big yard? or even ranch style home life? His foster mom says: "Boots has the most beautiful running gate...He looks like a colt running thru a meadow." BOOTS ADORES PEOPLE, & is eager to please. Shy for the first few minutes......once confident he smothers his people with affection, paw shakes and kisses galore. Here is BOOTS story: This beautiful dog spent the entire 1st year of his life tied to a short chain in a back yard......Alone, skinny as a rail, sleeping out in the snow. Most days, he could not even reach his food bowl. A neighbor would sneak into the yard to feed him. She finally got the courage to BEG for his freedom. The owners agreed. With only a few weeks of ongoing love & training in his new foster home...BOOTS is now HOUSEBROKEN, CRATE TRAINED AND A PERFECTLY WONDERFUL INDOOR DOG! !!!
